What type of sights are you looking for? Pistol or Rifle? Scope? Red Dot? Holosight?  Back up Iron Sights?       Price range, prefered style?

I think what he was trying to ask was if anybody knows of any airsoft sites running a sale right now. Sights and Sites are two different things Tongue. To answer the question though, no I don't know of any sites holding a sale right now. ASGI usually has 10% coupons available all the time. And most sites will show where they have temporarily marked down guns. You just need to check around.

Airsplat.com and Evike.com will do free shipping if the order is over $100 usually.

Airsplat.com has free shipping starting from $150 and up.

Also, even if you opt for free shipping Airsplat.com and other sites will still charge you a handling fee that is normally included in the shipping price.

This happened to me when I was going to use a free shipping coupon at Airsplat.com and the shipping and handling charges area in the checkout section still showed $5, so I looked at their fine-print and turns out all orders over $100 or $150 have will always have an added $5 handling fee.

But coupons for both of these sites are usually far better than free shipping. You can find TONS of coupons at www.retailmenot.com. Evike has a %15 off coupon I'm about to use on $160 worth of stuff I'm gonna get off there, which saves a LOT more than replacing the $14 in shipping.

Do not and I repeat do not order from Airsplat!  I ordered a pistol and they sent me one that was $40 less than what I ordered, then when I sent it back they credited my account for the cheaper pistol.  Sent me the original pistol that I ordered and it fell apart in my hands.  When I sent it back (mid December) they still haven't credited my account, won't return my emails and give me the runaround on the phone.  So if you like quality products and good customer support then STAY AWAY!!!!!!

Yeah I can imagine them doing something like that. They're definitely cheap, but the one thing they had going for them was that they were inexpensive. Now they've gone through some pretty serious price hikes.

For example the DE UMP is the crappy extra stuff it comes with used to be $99, which it still is on AirsoftGI.com, but now it's $140! Why would anyone pay that much for a low-quality AEG?

They do have a couple good things going for them.
   1. They recently went through a site revamp, which might be an external sign of a bigger turn around
   2. They'll often name things in an easier way to search for them, (ie. the G&G UMG is also has UMP in it's title to tag what it's really called) which allows you to search for a specific style of gun easier
   3. They have a gamer's guide. You can look up what airsoft guns correlate to their video game counterparts in many popular games like COD, Battlefield 2, Rainbox Six, and Combat Arms.

Airsplat.com might be a useful tool for finding the airsoft gun you want to buy, but it's probably not a good website for purchase it from.

Just my honest opinion; correct me if I'm wrong, and I'll gladly accept cookies if I'm right. Grin

Ah, good.

Evike is a great website; they're definitely one of my favorites.

Which gun did you settle on?
